I was listening to Dr. Sue Morter, a quantum scientist of sorts who stated something that stayed with me and I would like to share. She said that many people stay with the top part of their body where logic and reason, and it can even be said, where the ego resides. Yet, this is not where wisdom resides, wisdom resides in the area of the gut, or where the diaphragm, or belly button is. Most of us fail to breathe that deeply. We remain in the top half in survival mode. If we can drop in our breath, deeper, allowing our breath to go lower in our bodies, we can touch that inner wisdom and allow it to come forth. Meditation allows for this. In this way we can sit with a question and wait for the answer to surface...from deep within ourselves...powerful!
